Blind Faith in God Leads to Miracles Every Time

When God leads us, when we allow our faith to be stronger than our fear, real miracles happen…every time!  When we trust that His plan is better than any plan we can dream up, the unimaginable happens.  Doors open that we didn’t know existed.  Here are just a few recent examples of this truth happening in Jodie’s and my lives. We hope you are inspired.

Have faith in God, trust in God, Miracles resultGod Leads When We Allow Him

I have to share a recent story of how listening to God created a miracle.

Jodie and I both start our days with The Miracle Morning (see our blog post 6 Simple Habits to Change Your Life). Beginning our days with this simple program has changed the trajectory of our lives. No matter what your goals are, how you begin your day determines your day. We can’t recommend it enough and hope you will take a look.

In prayer one morning during “My Miracle Morning” I heard God say to me “Julie, Be Extravagant!”…”Give extravagantly!”  Gosh, it was loud and clear!  So I very quickly came up with the idea to conduct a giveaway, but not just any giveaway.  A giveaway of grand proportions.  I wanted to give away a gift every single day for the month of March. 31 gifts.  When I say “I came up with it” I really mean God came up with it. I have no other explanation for how it came to me so quickly and so clearly. I was astounded.

Thus I decided we would give away 31 items from my own home. “Wait, what?” I heard myself staggering.  Uhhhh, ok. Really? I was balking a little. I wasn’t really worried about the items, but I was worried about the costs of shipping. My mind was doing some quick math. It would be hundreds of dollars in shipping alone. We were supposed to be making money not going into debt. But God reassured me. “Trust me, Julie,” I heard.

“Trust in Me!”

“Ok,” I thought, “He said to give, so we will give.”

Blind faith. He was asking for my trust and blind faith. “Ok, God, I will listen and I will trust in your unseen plan.” Quickly, my worries vanished. I was so happy to be putting His message to work and our business (our lives) in His hands. It would all work out I was sure. I didn’t know how, but I was sure.

Just as soon as the giveaway was announced almost immediately makers started coming to us. Maybe our costs could be lowered slightly. The more we advertised the more the makers manifested. We couldn’t believe it. Each day instead of our costs growing they were diminishing. We were making friends! The makers were grateful to us for the opportunity. What?  They wanted to participate. How is this happening? It’s better than if we had planned the whole thing. Well, of course this is how it goes, I thought to myself.  We put God in charge. It was almost magical how it came to pass. But that’s not magic. That’s God. That’s how He works when you listen and trust in Him. So beautiful.

The Results When God Leads

As a result, the giveaway brought many, many new people to our blog. People who came loved what they read. (You told us in your beautiful comments.) Additionally, we got to know people so much better because of all the comments. Honestly, the comments alone were extraordinary gifts. We made beautiful new friends. We made 31 people delightfully happy with a surprise gift. And last but not least, we learned yet again how blind faith, listening to His plan, trusting in His plan, leads to so much more than we could ever plan ourselves! Let Go and Let God! When we do we can expect miracles.

God leads us better than we can

God Leads Jodie to her Miracle

When I started in the home decor community on IG I said to Jodie, “Come on, you will  love it. Take pictures and share. Everyone is so nice.” At that time she was quite depressed with her family’s financial struggles and didn’t think her home was “nice enough”. She didn’t have any money to buy new things which she felt her home needed to look special.

With enough encouragement and reassurance she finally gave in. Almost immediately she felt love from people’s kind hearts pouring out to her. She did her best with her home and what she had, and all the while I prayed. I prayed, “God, let her feel encouraged. Let her find joy. Let her find purpose. And let her find You.”

Consequently, things started to change for her. She became encouraged. Her sadness and despair began to lift. I could hear the mood shift and the hope and excitement in her voice. She felt new motivation, and mostly, she felt the love of strangers supporting and encouraging her. She was coming back to life.

God Uses People

God used me to direct Jodie to IG. Then he used all the beautiful, wonderful “strangers” from around the world to lift up her soul and make her feel valued and loved when she was at her lowest. Miracles were happening all around her and me too. The more I prayed and let God lead the more beautiful our lives became. We had no idea where this journey would lead, but we didn’t need to know. When God leads miracles happen.

Just this morning Jodie and I were on a video call and she was touring me through her home. Of course I know better than anyone all the projects, all the collaborations, all the things that are happening in her home. Plus along with you all, I also see her photos on IG. But touring around this morning it struck me solidly. Her home has been utterly transformed, and with it her life. God is SO good.

Have you read my personal faith story yet? It’s pretty amazing how God has worked in my family, and I know you will find it very uplifting. Increasing Spirituality: Journey toward Christ

When God Leads

Each day we let Him be our guide. With each decision and choice we are not fearful, but let His principles guide us.

Today Jodie and I are more fulfilled and happier than we’ve ever been. Life is full of purpose, and our many passions are being utilized on a daily basis. Her home that she couldn’t afford to decorate nicely is being transformed by her creativity, her DIY projects, and her renewed faith.

Finances are still tight and a struggle, but in the midst of struggle she has found real joy and satisfaction. She is using her God-given talents every single day and creating something she is enjoying and that she is proud of. And in the midst of life she has found God. God who had never left her, who was right beside her all along. To read more about Jodie’s incredible journey read her story:

The Truth Behind the Pretty Pictures of Instagram

God Leads Through All of Us

Sometimes there are people in our lives who need our prayers and encouragement. Often this person is a close family member. But sometimes this person is someone you’ve never met on the other side of the world, but God has put you in a unique position to affect their hearts.

Never underestimate the power we have with our words and deeds. When we reach out with care and love and generosity, when we share our gifts we have been bestowed, God works through us!  For the goodness of God lives within us.

Spiritual Music

Every day I surround myself with positive reminders and inspiration. God leads us perfectly in the scriptures. I read The Bible and from many different spiritual writers. Also, listening to spiritual radio is such a gorgeous source of light and spiritual inspiration. I never know when I am going hear something that helps me, that grounds me. Surrounding yourself with positive messages and hope is so important because we never know when life is going to challenge us.

Finally, I am including the lyrics of a powerful, uplifting song that really speaks directly to my heart and confirms the message I am passing on to you here. I hope it will inspire you. The lyrics are spot on and if you don’t know Lauren Daigle and this song, I suggest listening to it.

Trust In You

by Lauren Daigle

Letting go of every single dream
I lay each one down at Your feet
Every moment of my wondering
Never changes what You see

I’ve tried to win this war I confess
My hands are weary I need Your rest
Mighty Warrior King of the fight
No matter what I face You’re by my side

(chorus)

When You don’t move the mountains
I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust
I will trust in You

Truth is You know what tomorrow brings
There’s not a day ahead You have not seen
So in all things be my life and breath
I want what You want Lord and nothing less

(chorus)

When You don’t move the mountains
I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust
I will trust in You

(bridge)

You are my strength and comfort
You are my steady hand
You are my firm foundation
The Rock on which I stand
Your ways are always higher
Your plans are always good
There’s not a place where I’ll go
You’ve not already stood

(chorus)

When You don’t move the mountains
I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust
I will trust in You…

So beautiful, so full of truth.

God Leads With Purpose

We are all challenged, sometimes in big ways. And sometimes even the small things can throw us off our game. That is why we need constant reminders. Surround yourself with people who help you. Remove the negative sources in your life. This is something you CAN and must do. Make way for the light. Remove obstacles in order to allow yours to shine.

Let nothing stop your light from shining, for God created each of us with great PURPOSE.

I hope this post blesses you and that you are inspired. Lastly, don’t forget to enjoy our many other spiritual posts and follow us on Instagram for daily inspiration as God moves us to share.

With love, gratitude, and blessings,

  4. Patty says:

Wow, what a great testimony of the goodness of God. What reading this has reminded of …. God can be present in every aspect of our lives and HE wants to be present. Being in the “ministry” for around 33 years has halted me from doing some things (dreams) that I have always had a passion to do. Simply because my mindset has been… this can’t be a “God-thing” because it’s not connected to the “church”. It’s a “me” dream. You have reminded me today God can be and will. E in every aspect if we allow Him too. Thanks., I needed another women of God to tell me this.. Thanks for your obedience to share. You’ve helped me!❤️❤️❤️????????

When we trust in His limitless power of course we are rewarded. So blessed to have your sweet support and friendship. It means so much to us both. With love and gratitude, Julie & Jodie

I suffer from Fibromyalgia friends and I get down with the flair ups so bad sometimes. But since I have been creating it’s not as bad. It keeps my mind busy and people are so kind! I am blessed ten fold because when I won I knew it was a gift and thanked God and cried! I read Jodie’s story about the backyard and the grass and that made me say ok….Progress not Perfedtion!
